CHERYL RINGER joined the Office of the County Attorney in February 2008 as a  Staff Attorney in the Taxation/Finance Division. She presently holds the position of  Senior Attorney in charge of the  Finance, Information Technology, and Taxation Division. Prior to joining the County Attorney’s Office, Ms. Ringer served as Associate County Attorney for Prince George’s County, Maryland. Ms. Ringer graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science, and she  earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Cincinnati College of Law.   She is  an active member of the Georgia Bar.

STEVEN E. ROSENBERG joined the Office of the County Attorney in June 2000 as a Staff Attorney in the Public Safety Division.   He presently holds the position of  Senior Attorney in charge of the  Public Safety Division.   Prior to becoming Senior Attorney over the Public Safety Division,  he served as Senior Attorney in charge of the Environment, Community Development, and Land Use Division. Prior to joining  the County Attorney's Office, Mr. Rosenberg worked for the County Public Defender's Office. Mr. Rosenberg majored in Political Science at the University of Vermont, and he  earned a Juris Doctorate from the Emory University School of Law in Atlanta,  Georgia. He is an active member of the Georgia Bar and is admitted to practice law in all federal and state trial and appellate courts.

WILLAM SHANNON SAMS joined the Office of the County Attorney in June of 2008 as a Staff Attorney in the Personnel Division.   He presently holds the position of Senior Attorney over the Risk Management and Revenue Enhancement Division.   Prior to joining the Office of the County Attorney, Mr. Sams   served as an associate in a private firm in northern Fulton County specializing in land use law, municipal law, community property rights and environmental law.   Mr. Sams obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University   of Georgia in 2000. He earned a dual degree in 2005 obtaining both a Juris Doctorate degree   from Georgia State University and a Master's Degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology in City and Regional Planning.   He is an active member of the Georgia Bar and is admitted to practice in all state trial and appellate courts.

KRISTEN WILLIAMS joined the Office of the County Attorney in March 2012 as a Staff Attorney in the Personnel, Courts, and Health and Human Services Division. Prior to joining the Office of the County Attorney, Mrs. Williams specialized in the Education law where she represented parents of special needs children attending public schools and teachers who faced disciplinary issues. Mrs. Williams received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Agnes Scott College. She earned her Juris Doctorate from UGA School of Law. Ms. Williams is an active member of the Georgia Bar and is admitted to practice law in the federal, state and appellate courts of Georgia.
