Fulton County Housing and Community Development Schedules Information Session on How to Prevent Foreclosure | Print |

Fulton County residents can take advantage of continuing free information sessions on how to save their homes from foreclosure.  An information workshop will be held Wednesday, August 10, 2011, at the Washington Park Branch Library from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.  The Washington Park Branch is located at 1116 Martin Luther King Jr., Drive in Atlanta.

Residents at risk for foreclosure will receive information on foreclosure prevention options along with information on how to contact United States Department of Housing and Urban Development certified housing counselors.  Housing counselors can provide free guidance on how to work with mortgage holders to prevent foreclosure through options such as loan modifications, forbearance or other alternatives.
