Title VI | Print |

The Office of the County Auditor is responsible for implementing, monitoring and ensuring the county's compliance with Title VI regulations. Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (42 U.S.C. 2000d) is federal law that protects individuals from discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin in programs receiving federal financial assistance. All programs and operations of entities that receive assistance from the federal government must comply with provisions outlined under this Act. The Fulton County Board of Commissioners, County Manager and the Office of the County Auditor  are committed to ensuring compliance and works diligently to ensure that all management, staff and service recipients are aware of the provisions and responsibilities accorded under this Act. We make ourselves readily available to provide technical assistance, resources, guidance and other information regarding Title VI to maintain standards of compliance.

Fulton County is committed in its efforts to safeguard against discriminatory acts in all of its programs and activities, regardless of the funding source. We take reasonable steps to provide meaningful access to services for persons with Limited English Proficiency (LEP). We are an inclusive county that welcomes a diverse population and remains dedicated to providing equal access to services for all citizens of the county.
