Fulton County Fire Rescue set to graduate 18 new firefighters on June 23rd | Print |

 

The Fulton County Fire Rescue Department will hold a Graduation Ceremony for 18 of its’ newest members to celebrate their successful completion of fire recruit training and their transition as firefighters to the field. The graduation ceremony will be held on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 2:00pm at the Fulton County Public Safety Training Center located at 3025 Merk Road College Park, GA 30349. The event is open to the public.

The firefighters joined the department on March 8th.   Through lectures and hand-on training, the recruits have learned skills related to structural firefighting, rescue practices, firefighter safety and survival, hazardous materials operations and many other essential disciplines.   They have completed live fire training and have earned certifications as Georgia state certified firefighters at the NPQ1 and NPQ2 level.
